Joao Pedro stars as Chelsea edge Brighton in 4-3 thriller

Chelsea maintained their perfect start with a dramatic 4-3 victory over Brighton at Stamford Bridge, surviving a second-half fightback in a seven-goal thriller.

Romeo Lavia, Pedro Neto and Joao Pedro gave the Blues a commanding 3-0 advantage before Brighton fought their way back into the contest. Malick Yalcouye pulled one back with a well-struck volley before Joao Pedro put through his own net to make it 3-2.
