Dembele, Hakimi back in training ahead of PSG vs Arsenal Champions League Final

Paris Saint-Germain have been handed encouraging news ahead of the UEFA Champions League final after both Ousmane Dembele and Achraf Hakimi returned to full training.
The pair resumed work with the squad this week, giving the French champions a lift as preparations intensify for Saturday's final against Arsenal. For manager Luis Enrique, the timing could hardly be more important with PSG chasing another major European prize.
Dembele appears on course for final return
Dembele had raised concerns after suffering a calf problem during Ligue 1 action against Paris FC on May 17. The Ballon d'Or winner later attempted to ease fears by insisting the issue was not serious and expressed confidence that he would be ready for the final.
His return to training strengthens that belief and suggests PSG remain optimistic about his availability. Dembele has frequently managed his workload during domestic competition this season, often limiting minutes in Ligue 1 while remaining central to PSG's European campaign.
Across the Champions League, his role has carried even greater importance, with his attacking movement and creativity becoming key parts of PSG's offensive structure.
Hakimi's situation remains slightly different
Hakimi's recovery may require a more cautious approach. The Moroccan defender suffered a thigh injury during PSG's semi-final victory over Bayern Munich and had faced uncertainty regarding his involvement in the final.
Although returning to training is a positive development, the extended period without competitive minutes raises questions over match sharpness.
PSG could now face a decision between starting one of their most influential players immediately or carefully managing his return. Arsenal have dealt with a similar concern themselves regarding defensive fitness ahead of the final.
PSG moving closer to full strength
Having both players back on the training ground significantly improves PSG's preparation heading into one of the biggest matches of the season.
The French side already possess attacking depth, but Dembele's ability to change games and Hakimi's influence on both ends of the pitch add another dimension.
For PSG supporters, training-ground images may not guarantee selection decisions, but they do offer something valuable just days before a European final: optimism.
