With the 2026 FIFA World Cup now complete, FIFA has published its final Power Rankings, recognizing the tournament's standout performers across three core categories: attacking, creativity and defending.

France captain Kylian Mbappe finished as the competition's highest-rated attacker, Michael Olise emerged as the leading creative force, while Spain midfielder Rodri capped a remarkable tournament by topping the defensive rankings following La Roja's title-winning campaign.

The rankings, compiled throughout the tournament, reflect player performances over the entire competition rather than individual matches, offering a broader assessment of consistency and overall impact.

Mbappe leads the World's most dangerous attackers

Fresh from winning the adidas Golden Boot and becoming the leading goalscorer in FIFA World Cup history, Mbappe finished comfortably at the summit of the attacking rankings.

His tournament score of 9.12 placed him ahead of Jude Bellingham (8.29) and Lionel Messi (8.06), who both remained in contention until the closing stages of the competition.

Olise's seven assists were the highest recorded during the tournament, highlighting his importance as France's primary creator whether operating centrally or from the right flank.

Spain also featured prominently in the creativity charts, with Lamine Yamal, Alex Baena and Dani Olmo all finishing among the tournament's elite creators. England duo Anthony Gordon and Marcus Rashford also earned places in the top ten after consistently productive performances.
