Chelsea forward João Pedro has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until June 2032. The Brazilian has agreed fresh terms with the Premier League club, with Chelsea completing the necessary documentation to formalise the long-term agreement.

The new deal also includes a salary increase, reflecting João Pedro's growing importance to the squad and Chelsea's plans for the coming years.

João Pedro commits long-term future to Chelsea

The new agreement represents a significant show of confidence from Chelsea in the Brazilian forward. João Pedro joined the club with expectations of making an impact in attack, and the latest contract ensures Chelsea have secured his services for the long term.

According to the information reported by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the new contract runs until June 2032. The agreement also contains an option to extend beyond 2032, potentially allowing Chelsea to keep the forward at Stamford Bridge for even longer.

Salary increase included in new deal

Alongside the extended commitment, João Pedro has received an improved salary. The increase rewards the forward for his performances and further underlines his position within Chelsea's long-term project.

Rather than allowing uncertainty over his future to develop, Chelsea have moved to secure the Brazilian on improved terms.

João Pedro delighted to continue Chelsea journey

João Pedro welcomed the new agreement and expressed his excitement about continuing his career at Stamford Bridge. The Brazilian said he was happy to remain at Chelsea and described the club as a place where he feels at home.

He also highlighted Chelsea's ambitions and his desire to remain part of the club's plans for the future. The commitment comes as Chelsea continue to build a squad capable of competing for major honours in England and Europe.

The new contract gives Chelsea greater certainty over João Pedro's future as the club enters another stage of its long-term project.

At 24 years old, the forward still has significant room for development and could remain an important attacking option for the Blues throughout the remainder of the decade.

The extension also protects Chelsea from the possibility of the player entering the final stages of his contract in the coming years.

With the option to extend beyond 2032 included, the club has potentially secured João Pedro's services well into the future.
