I can't remember the last time I played without pain - Gabriel Jesus

Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus has faced a series of injury setbacks since the 2022 World Cup. The Brazil international admitted that he cannot recall the last time he played without pain.

Jesus had knee surgery following an injury in Qatar and has since encountered three more setbacks due to knee-related issues.

As Arsenal leads the Premier League and prepares to take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final, a fully fit Jesus could significantly impact the remainder of the season.

"There are moments when I still feel it in my knee. I can't remember the last time I played football without pain,

" Jesus shared with the press on Monday. Despite the challenges, Jesus remains mentally strong.

He has scored eight goals in various competitions this season and is unfazed by the possibility of Arsenal signing a new striker in the upcoming transfer window.

"It's up to them to decide if they need one. I focus on training hard and enhancing my skills.

Speculation is part of the game," he stated. Following the Champions League clash with Bayern, Arsenal will face Aston Villa in the league on Sunday.
