The victory followed Villa's earlier 3-1 success over the Indonesia All Stars, extending the Premier League club's unbeaten start to pre-season.

Villa dominate first half

Villa adapted well to the intense heat and humidity, immediately taking control through patient possession and aggressive pressing. The visitors created several openings before Emi Buendía finished off a flowing attacking move to break the deadlock.

The Korean side responded almost immediately with one of the goals of the match as Mateus Aias produced a brilliant rainbow flick before setting up Lee Chang-min, who finished confidently to level the contest.

The Bundesliga champions restored their advantage before halftime through highly rated 16-year-old Bastian Assomo, whose composed finish ultimately proved decisive.
